I have been asked by Scott Teeples if other associations were complying with the required Referee/Coach Meeting - see

I think this is a very good thing to start if you are not doing it. It is an opportunity to discuss sportsmanship, having wrestlers ready to wrestle and the reporting procedure. These can be done in your pre-meet meetings with the teams but I think it would be good to have this be a formal procedure prior to the start of every dual meet. It would add a touch of professionalism to our sport.
Lets start this immediately statewide and see how it works. Meet with the head coaches and captains at matside prior to taking the captains to the center for the coin toss. Let me know how this is received by your officials and how it goes.
